When it comes to glass doors, selecting the right kind can be confusing if you’re not familiar with the industry. However, it can be a lot less daunting if you follow a couple basic guidelines. There is a difference between heated glass and heated frames. Heated frames means the frames are heated, heated glass means the glass is heated along with the frames. Heated frames are usually fine for most locations, however if you live in a high humidity area such as Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, etc. you will want the glass heated as well to avoid fogging. Keep in mind that glass freezer doors will always be 3 pane glass with heated glass and frames.
